Filling up won’t break the bank, as the XR AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) model uses only 4.2ℓ/100km, while the standard Vitz MT and XR MT’s twin-injection, three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine boasts fuel consumption of only 4.4ℓ/100km.
To reinforce the fuel-saving and eco credentials of both models is the standard Stop-Start feature which automatically switches the engine off when you’re stationary, and seamlessly starts it up again as you move off.

Safety
More Safety, More Peace of Mind
Now packed with even more safety features, you can drive the Vitz with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the hatchback has been engineered to keep you and your passengers safe. Side and curtain airbags are now standard across the range, adding an additional layer of safety to the existing dual front driver and passenger airbags.
Passenger and rear seat belt warning lamps and alarms have been added, along with a 3-point centre rear seatbelt, while the Vitz XR models have a rear camera that, along with the standard rear Park Distance Control (PDC), makes reversing and parking easier and safer.
The driver support systems that are standard across the Vitz models, sets it apart from many of its price competitors and include Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) which maintains traction when the road gets slippery. The Vitz XR AMT model also has Hill Assist Control (HAC) which prevents the car from rolling back when stopping on an incline.

On the passive safety list, there are driver and passenger airbags, and pretensioners with force limiters for the front seatbelts. XR models are kitted out with an immobiliser and integrated alarm.

The new Vitz model ups the styling ante by introducing exciting accents garnishing the front fog lamps, while also adorning the rear spoiler. It’s further echoed in the unique badging and the flash of orange brushing the protective grey side moulding which is unique to this model.
