The forward placement of the power unit in the Quantum’s body shell, along with a sound-deadening engine cover, significantly reduces in-cabin engine noise, meaning drivers and passengers alike can savour a soothing and tranquil travel experience, no matter how remote the destination. The Quantum VX is built for those who demand the best. Peace of mind comes standard, that is why the vehicle is equipped with Toyota’s world-class Safety Sense active safety package, which is aimed towards the establishment of an automotive society with zero accidents in the future. To minimise damage in the event of a collision, passive safety features include driver and front passenger airbags, as well as an impact-absorbing structure, which comes courtesy of the semi-bonnet configuration.
This suppresses a sudden loss of vehicle stability during cornering.
The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) ensures that maximum braking power is produced, without locking the tyres.
