The Toyota Rumion is equipped with essential safety features like front airbags, pre tensioner seatbelts and anti-lock brakes (ABS) to keep everyone protected. Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) ensures stability, while Rear Park Distance (PDC) makes parking effortless with sensors and alerts. Additional features include remote central locking, anti-theft systems, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill Assist Control (HAC) on automatic models. With a 4-service plan, the Rumion offers confidence and security for every journey.

The driver and front passenger are each protected by front airbags, as well as safety belts with a pre-tensioner, force limiter, front seatbelt warning and Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR). The latter allows the easy extension of the seatbelt to facilitate comfortable movement by the passenger, but will lock the seatbelt during a sudden stop or impact.
Rear passengers are safeguarded by three-point seat belts, also fitted with an Emergency Locking Retractor. Furthermore, ISOFIX mounting brackets serve to secure baby seats, while the rear doors are fitted with child locks.
Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, an ABS evolution, distributes braking force to each corner, accommodating variations in weight distribution and tyre grip during braking.
Sensors in the vehicle’s bumpers scan for nearby stationary objects. When an object is detected, a beeper sounds, and its proximity is displayed* on the infotainment screen.
