Models include the powerful, yet ultra-economical 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 103 kW at 6400 r/min. As well as the self-charging hybrid model which develops 72 kW at 5200 r/min, with an additional 90 kW available from its electric motor throughout the rev range.
Both engines power the front wheels through a smooth select-and-forget CVT transmission so that all you need to do is enjoy the ride.
For complete driver control, the Corolla Cross GR-Sport is equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam at the rear, for sure-footed handling and extra load-carrying ability. This SUV is comfortable both on-road and off-road, offering you the choice of either a petrol or Hybrid engine.

The dual-engine powerhouse combines petrol and electric to ensure that you get everything you need out of your vehicle, with the added benefits of more kilometres per tank and fewer CO2 emissions. Our hybrid technology automatically manages the outputs of the petrol engine and electric motor to optimise efficiency, resulting in an average fuel consumption of just 4.3ℓ/100km.
