A torque-sensing limited-slip rear differential keeps you in control at all times, while modifications to throttle characteristics make for better acceleration, fuel economy and drivability. The GR86’s dampers have also been effectively tuned for better shock absorber adjustments, resulting in improved driving performance and handling. One of the lightest sports cars on the market, it’s perfect for beating the stopwatch and getting your pulse racing.
The GR86 has been manufactured to deliver maximum performance on both the road and the track. Its new, larger-capacity, naturally aspirated 2.4-litre flat-four petrol engine produces 174 kW @ 7 000 r/min and 250 Nm peak torque @ 3 700 rpm. Its D4-S dual-injection fuel system, comprising both direct and port injection, has been re-tuned to deliver a more aggressive throttle response.

With an extensive suite of safety features, that include an Emergency Brake Signal System (ESS), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Park Distance Control and driver, passenger, and rear seatbelt bracing, you can enjoy peace of mind both on the road and track.
Sensors detect rapidly approaching vehicles and objects, triggering automatic safety systems like emergency braking and safety belt bracing to avoid or mitigate impact without driver input.
Sensors in the vehicle’s bumpers scan for nearby stationary objects. When an object is detected, a beeper sounds, and its proximity is displayed* on the infotainment screen.
This system features Steering Vibration and Lane Trace Assist, which alert the driver with a beeper, steering wheel vibrations, and a dashboard display, aiding automatic lane correction.
