The all-new GR Yaris Rally has a 1.6 turbocharged engine that is compact, lightweight, and responsive, making it the world’s most powerful three-cylinder engine, and the smallest and lightest 1.6 turbo. The engine delivers an impressive rally-inspired 210kW of power, and when in gear, the GR Yaris Rally can go from zero to 100 kilometres in 5.2 seconds. The vehicle comes with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission model, produces a maximum torque of 400 Nm, and can reach a top speed of 230 kilometres an hour.
The GR-Four all-wheel drive system is designed to optimise driving power to each wheel, while the driving experience remains simple and lightweight. The distribution of torque between the front and rear axles is governed by a high response coupling, but the driver is always in control – the driver can adjust the four-wheel drive performance to suit their preference or the driving situation by simply using a 4WD mode dial switch. The all-new GR Yaris Rally comes with all the modern convenience features one might expect from the GR-inspired rally vehicle, and a whole lot more. The drive is made easy with a Reverse Camera and updated Heads-Up Display, which means the driver never has to look away from the windscreen or the road ahead. It also comes with Adaptive High Speed* Cruise Control, adjusting the throttle position as and when needed, and for endless entertainment while cruising (or racing!) the all-new GR Yaris Rally also comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, enhanced audio and a Type C USB.

The detailed and revamped 4.2" full-colour TFT multi-information display (MID) keeps the driver informed by showing the currently selected 4WD mode, turbo boost pressure, active gear selection, and cornering G-force.

The all-new GR Yaris Rally comes with a myriad of drive support systems which aim to keep the driver secure, and the experience truly Gazoo Racing-inspired. The vehicle comes with Front and Rear Park Distance Control (PDC) that scans for stationary objects, an Intelligent Clearance Sonar*, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert* system. Hill Assist Control (HAC) which prevents the car from rolling when pulling off on an incline, as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) which keeps the vehicle stable for optimum driver safety at all times. The Drive Mode Select empowers the driver to choose the drive they want, and Lane Trace Assist* ensures that the vehicle remains centred in lane, when required, for a safer drive. And when the driver wants to enjoy the purest Gazoo Racing-inspired atmosphere, Active Noise Control* reduces noise for a quieter, and more enjoyable drive. The vehicle also comes with the Blind Spot Monitor, which is deigned to give you extra confidence on the road. Using advanced sensors, it detects vehicles that may be hidden from your view in adjacent lanes and alerts you before you make a lane change. Working hand-in-hand with the Lane Keeping System and Lane Departure Alert, it helps ensure you stay safely in your lane and avoid potential collisions — giving you greater peace of mind every time you drive.

With ABS, excess brake pressure is modulated to allow for continued tyre rotation under extreme braking conditions, where excessive pressure would ordinarily lock the brakes and induce a skid, eliminating the ability to turn and prolonging the braking distance.

The all-new GR Yaris Rally is uniquely styled; however, it is still distinctly Toyota Gazoo Racing inspired. With a three-door body and a roof which has been lowered by 91mm, as well as frameless doors, the all-new GR Yaris Rally has an eye-catching coupe silhouette. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, unmatched on any road, and it has a rear spoiler and carbon-fibre reinforced Polymer roof, which both make a statement, even before the engine is engaged.
